Whenever I’m really anxious or feeling under the weather, I make these and they always do the trick.
Ingredients:
• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch
• 1/2 cup vegan margarine
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon nondairy milk
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon cloves
• 3/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
Preparations:
• Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
• In a mixing bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients; flour, baking soda, salt, cornstarch and the spices.
• Add in the margarine, sugars, milk and vanilla, mix well until everything is combined.
• Fold in the chocolate chips.
• Scoop little balls of dough onto your lined baking sheet, leave some space between each cookie so they don’t stick together.
• Smaller cookies will require around 7-9 minutes and bigger will need about 10-12 minutes.
• Let them cool down a bit and enjoy the Crisis Cookies with a glass of milk.
