Sombre Moisson

Forged as a symbol of harvest, strength, and cycles of transformation, Sombre Moisson embodies both work and wonder. The sickle has long lived in folklore and ritual, a tool for gathering abundance from the earth, but also a reminder of the darker edge of harvest, where endings and beginnings intertwine. Between Lughnasadh and Mabon, it feels like a fitting emblem: gratitude, effort, and the eternal turning of seasons, captured in sterling silver.

This piece is the result of a collaboration between L’hermite and Uneven, a talented jewelry artist who sculpted the sickle in jeweler’s wax before casting it in Sterling Silver. Both of us are drawn to the dark beauty of autumn, Halloween, harvest, and memory. Our worlds intertwine in this design, translating tradition and shadow in unique ways. Romantic, timeless, and a little haunted, the Sombre Moisson feels like it was destined to exist.
