Ever heard of Baba Yaga? She slays the house down boots💅
Baba Yaga’s house is usually pictured as a small hut standing on chicken legs. For my interpretation of the iconic house I imagined an old New England cabin (17th century) nested on witch legs wearing the classic victorian witch boots (19th century). Showing that outsiders, Queers and Witches, have been here since forever and they continue to evolve through times. The nest is a nod to Pagan origins and the connection between witchcraft and nature.
